New Third Eye Blind Album!

Third Eye Blind are in the studio writing and recording new songs for their third, currently unnamed, record. Look for this album to be released in Summer 2002.

Stephan the Actor

Stephan has a small role as "Bradley" in the movie Rock Star which comes out on VHS/DVD on January 22, 2002.  Watch a clip here.

Stephan has a lead role in the indie flick Angelic Tuesday. No word yet when it will be released to theatres.

Movie Soundtracks and Tribute Albums!

3eb have recorded a song for the movie soundtrack of "A Knight's Tale," called "Eye Conqueror."  The soundtrack is now in stores.

Stephan Modeling?

As recent as December, Stephan mentioned that he may be doing some modeling in the very near future.  I am sworn to secrecy as to who he could be working with.  Or he could have just been telling a tall tale.  Remember that one about a video cast with real fans?  ;)

He'll be calling in for the interview sometime between 3:30-7pm central time on THIS FRIDAY 2/15. Now those of you who AREN'T in Dallas can listen live over the internet HERE if you have Windows Media Player. Keep in mind the time difference! 3eb scheduled a "secret show" for 2/13 at Bottom of the Hill, BUT it was cancelled today. Here is what 3eb tells us about the cancellation:

We had to cancel our secret show. We have been doing these to try out new material, but because you - people we love to play for - found out about it, that means our stalker found out about it too and the lack of security at the smaller venues makes it impossible to avoid the love knife (see Tenacious D). We will try and play again sometime and we hope you are in on the secret.  Cheers, Third Eye Blind

Update from Stephan:

Back from Paris. I assure you all the glamorous life of fashion is a ridiculous cavalcade of bullshit filled with silly adjectives that adorn unwearable clothes. It was fun, though. It reaffirmed to me that making rock records in San Francisco is the coolest thing in the world. I am looking forward to spending the next few months at work in the city of my dream. Peace out.
