Do ya like my 3eb pumpkin? My boyfriend carved it for me.
Back from LA and oh my wow what a rockin' good time had by all. I would tell you right now but it would ruin the review! So many updates, so little time. I promise to have most done by the weekend.
If you haven't already, head over to 3eb.co.uk and download the unreleased 3eb song Cry Cry Cry. It's rad!

Stephan designed a mask for Hospice Mask Project 2001, supporting the Sutter VNA And Hospice Project.
Could Stephan's mask be sporting potential new lyrics?
I don't want
anyone to get hurt
I pray for strength
People will get hurt though and if I wasn't half broken
I wonder if I would still reach their way.
I pray to a void
I always try to fix things
Every good jam
Just rolled off someone's tongue and that is
One act of love.
To speak even in the illusion of hope
For something perfect and righteous
Like a prayer to the God we invented.
Lullabies to Ourselves
You can own Stephan's original piece of art. Keep watching ebay for the upcoming auction.

A Statement from
the Producers of BREATHE:
Step Up Women's Network and Stephan Jenkins have decided to relocate
BREATHE, this Saturday's breast cancer benefit concert, from The Greek
Theatre to The Wiltern Theatre. In light of recent tragic
events, philanthropic efforts have been refocused to other immediate
causes and therefore, a smaller venue is better suited for the show at
this time. The producers are confident that The Wiltern will be
an extraordinary venue for this concert and will allow the audience to
experience the eclectic musical
collaborations in a more intimate and personal setting.

*sings* Happy Birthday to me!
We've officially passed the $1000 mark for our breast cancer fundraiser! I want to thank EACH and every one of you who sent in your hard earned money. Also, we'll be showing off the certificate we're presenting Stephan with all the names of persons who donated to the SJ BBCF.

I was feeding my obsession at Pier One (it's worse than a crack habit) in my neighborhood today and guess who I happened to meet in line? Major hottie.... Benjamin Bratt. yep! He has the MOST AMAZING teeth. He asked me if I was in line because we were both standing next to the counter. When I looked up to answer him and I realized who it was, I somehow managed to say "uh I just got in line so go ahead." He had a woman with him and it wasn't Julia Roberts. hehe Anyhoo, I've been pretty star-struck since then. Once he walked out the store I immediately called Wooby. And then my sis. And then my mom. HEHEHE The only reason I can think that I am star-struck is because I JUST saw him in "The Next Best Thing" on Friday night on HBO.... that and because HE'S SO HOT. mmm Sorry to get off topic but I had to share. Nite nite.

THE MAN, aka SJ, wants you all to know his thoughts about SIBL Project (Songs Inspired by Literature Project), his struggles with dyslexia and to encourage everyone to pick up a book and READ! From SJ:
"Words, verse, and reading are the redeeming miracle of my life. Reading created the inner landscape, as Sam Shepard calls it. I would not be able to have put my own experiences into expression without the example of writers like Sheppard and Kerouac, poets like Wordsworth, and thinkers like Beckett. Reading did not come easily for me as a kid. My mind held every resistance to it. I wish everyone patience and courage in the journey to literacy. I assure you, it is a worthwhile journey, no matter when it begins." ~ Stephan Jenkins
SIBL Project is a non-profit organization headquartered in San Francisco. SIBL Project is dedicated to promoting adult literacy and raising funds for regional adult literacy programs. We're musicians, authors, journalists and producers. Together, we're using the universal language of music as a vehicle to engage, inspire and reinforce the magic of literature and the power of reading.
Don't delay! Check out Stephan's Book Club, the section of sj.com devoted to books, especially those recommended by Stephan for YOU to check out.

Your Momma, our gossip columnist, quit back in May. We finally found a replacement. Please welcome Gossip Communist to sj.com! Her column is in the center towards the bottom of this page. Feel free to send her hate mail, she loves it.
Added a new 3eb Calendar that's printable to hang at your desk.
Also, thanks to everyone who attended the BitchFest! We'll have group chats occasionally, like we've always done. Don't want to do it too often, like a boring routine.

Added an article written by a friend of mine and fellow fan of 3eb, Van. Track 3: A Third Eye Blind Memorandum
I encourage each of you to read this article because it's DEAD ON. One thing interesting to note, too, is that 3eb has never been on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. And they've sold over 7 million records between 2 albums. What's up with that? Read the article and GET MAD. Mad at the fucking press, mad at the musically-brainwashed public. We'll be holding an online bitch-fest in our chatroom this Sunday night (10/7) at 7pm EASTERN time. In the meantime, feel free to vent on the message board.
