It's partially related to the fact that I'm horribly lazy. It's also related to the fact that I think people should learn how to solo for themselves!! So, that being said, this song (without capo) is in the key of D major. The notes in the D major scale are D, E, F#, G, A, B, and C#. For all intensive purposes, you can still use this to solo along with this song. More or less you need to sit down with your guitar and figure out what sounds good along with the song. From there you can better understand exactly what it is going on in the song. I know that the idea of the tab is to teach you how to play the song, but I gave you the basics...now you need to expand on that!! ANOTHER NOTE: The 1994 demo recording is played on a guitar that is a bit out of tune. Playing along with the mp3 should sound okay (that's how I figured the song out), but if it sounds like your guitar is out of tune, it's probably not. The guitar on the track is the one that's out of tune. If the guitar on the track and your guitar are in tune with each other, great! /This/ song will sound great when you play along with the mp3... just don't play anything else with it that out of tune. ;)
