Backed by, well something's you can't explain-no way-and the hardest whippin' to this day-you didn't stand by me.- He truly wants to be "tied down" to a girl who loves him, but she lets him down. This is backed by: You said you'd stand-by your man.- It's a wonderful break-up song by a great band that was covered by an even greater band!
