John Mellencamp and Third Eye Blind have joined forces with golfer Tiger Woods to perform at Tiger Jam IV on April 28 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

Proceeds from the benefit, which is presented by Coca-Cola, will be distributed to the Tiger Woods Foundation and various children's charities in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

"As a group that has tried to put on benefits in the past, we are aware of how difficult it can be to organize charity events," said Third Eye Blind's Stephan Jenkins in a statement released Monday (Feb. 26). "We're impressed by Tiger's commitment and sensitivity in making the effort to help kids in areas where they desperately need it."

Such artists as Christina Aguilera, LeAnn Rimes, and Seal have lent their support to the fund-raiser in the past.

Tickets for Tiger Jam IV will go on sale Saturday (March 3) and can be bought through Ticketmaster or the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino box office.
