Jenkins and the band have agreed to perform at the California Palace of the Legion of Honor as part of a benefit for the Fine Arts Museums. The event, which was set for Saturday, has been postponed. Phew -- trustees now have time to prepare. The event will be sponsored by ArtPoint, a group of young arts supporters that wants to raise money for the new de Young Museum and bring new patrons into the fold.

In museums, said Jenkins, "You're eligible to get this perspective that lets you see things in the rest of your life in a different way. It's analogous to inspiration, and since I'm in the inspiration business, that's invaluable to me."
